I refused delivery of an S24 Ultra/512GB (€1359) because shortly after I ordered it, I saw the same phone for a considerably lower price (also from Samsung).
I ordered, received, and am very happy with the second phone I now have.
I refused the initial S24 Ultra on the 24th of January and still have not received confirmation that the phone has been received by Samsung.
I received an email the day after, I believe, I refused delivery stating the return process has begun.
I would feel much better if I were to receive an email informing me, we've received your phone and haven't forgotten you.
I don't remember it taking this long in the past.

An update - I just received an email from Samsung that I will shortly receive a refund for the first phone I returned.
Today was the 15th business day of the day I refused delivery at the door.
This makes me feel a lot better.

Although I assume the logistics department of Samsung will be busier than normal, it's also reasonable to receive a refund as soon as possible.
And to keep you in the loop too @davehorne
If this was my situation I'd speak with Customer Service and or the Online Shop Team.

I've contacted Samsung Customer Service via WhatsApp chat, which is a very quick and easy way to contact them.
I was told it can take up to 15 business days for the package to arrive back to Samsung ... and then an additional two weeks for me to receive a refund.
You'd think there'd be a better way, wouldn't you?

I recall when I sent a Samsung Note²⁰ back to the UK 🇬🇧 Returns Department it did take a while for the refund albeit my return refund was drastically delayed due to reasons out of my control.
However my return wasn't within the period of a major launch of new flagship phones which I can imagine has the possibility of delaying the process somewhat.
I hope your funds are returned ASAP @davehorne 🤞

I received a €1359 refund on my bank account. From the time the phone was refused to the time I received a refund was 16 business days.
